After you've completed the BodyWorks training, you are ready to facilitate program sessions with parents and caregivers. Kit delivery will take two to three weeks, and any kits that you order that aren't used need to be sent back to the Office on Women's Health. Each toolkit has a "nametag" attached to the handle where the kit owner can write his/her name.

How to order kits:

  1. E-mail bodyworks@hagersharp.com with the number of kits you need (please limit to 15 kits), the date of your upcoming program, and if it is a train-the-trainer program or parent/caregiver 10-week session. Specify the address and a phone number to where the kits should be sent (P.O. boxes are not allowed).
  2. At the first session, ask the parents and caregivers to fill out the card attached to the kit handle and send these to the Office on Women's Health, by mailing them to:

    BodyWorks
    Hager Sharp
    1090 Vermont Avenue, NW
    3rd Floor
    Washington, DC 20005

Please include a note of who the trainer is, when the program took place, and if it was a train-the-trainer session or parent/caregiver 10-week session.

How to order extra materials:

The Office on Women's Health has extra 4Teens books, journals, and DVDs (please limit to 15 per each material). Order these materials by emailing bodyworks@hagersharp.com.

Ordering train-the-trainer and parents/caregiver guides

Once you've facilitated a parent/caregiver program cycle, you are ready to train other facilitators to expand the use of BodyWorks.

  1. The "Train Other Trainers" guide leads you through the steps to train others to facilitate this program.
  2. The "Training Parents and Caregivers" guide is what you provide to individuals who you are training to be facilitators, who then use the guide when they lead the parent/caregiver groups. The Office on Women's Health provides you with the PDF files of both to reprint and use as you work to strengthen the BodyWorks program in your area.

E-mail bodyworks@hagersharp.com to request the files.
